This is helpful in vehicles with tight space where its hard to get in and out with the steering wheel in the way, or just for some extra anti-theft protection! Each Hub has machined with finely tuned splines tolerances, so you will have minimal movement in the wheel. We made the release handle extra wide on the hub, so it's easy to grip and disconnect even when you have race gloves on.
